Bio

 

Mrs. Streeter has a total of 30 years of experience as an educator in fine arts.  In the arts

 

she has worked equally in the fields of instrumental music and elementary music serving

 

the community and public school system as band director, elementary music teacher,

 

elementary band and choral director, general music teacher and currently as a middle

 

school band director where she teaches Band.  Mrs. Streeter holds a Bachelors of Music

 

 Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Tennessee, and a

 

Masters of Music degree in Instrumental Education from Georgia State University,

 

Atlanta, Georgia. She is certified to teach in the area of music in Georgia in grades P-12. 

 

Mrs. Streeter is a member of P.A. M., the Presbyterian Association of Musicians, Sigma

 

Alpha Iota music fraternity, the Alumni Pride of the Southland Marching Band, F.A.M.E.

 

in Douglas County, and is an active member at Covenant Presbyterian Church in the

 

Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir and is their Handbell Choir Director. She is an adjudicator for various instrumental events, an accomplished flutist and plays

several instruments.
