This is my first year teaching at Chestnut Log Middle School. I look forward to helping your children achieve their academic goals.

I was born and raised in Saginaw, Mi.  I moved to Detroit, MI to attend Wayne State University to obtain my goal of becoming a Pediatrician, where I completed a 5th year program.  Life changes would have me to put medical school on hold to raise my children. After my children became older, I decided to earn a degree in education. In December of 2012, I will have completed my Masters in Mathematics Education.

I have a husband, three daughters, one son and two grandchildren. Two of my daughters are in college, and my youngest daughter has decided to join the Army.  My son is a sophmore in high school.
